چکیده
Introduction. Nowadays, there are few studies concerning assessment of the clinical significance determining level pretransplant and de novo anti-HLA antibodies in patients after simultaneous pancreas-kidney transplantation. Aim. The study incidence, timing formation specificity Material methods. We conducted a prospective retrospective research to 55 transplantation performed at N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute for Emergency Medicine from 2008 2022. Results. There were 4 with preformed (7%). was observed 17 (31%). 5 antiHLA class I, 3 II, I anti-MICA 1 patient both classes anti-MICA. significantly increased incidence acute rejection (47% compared 13%, p=0.014). Conclusion. frequency antibody detection recipients our Center is comparable published data other transplant centers. obtained evidence that increases

Successful Pregnancy after Simultaneous Pancreas-Kidney Transplantation
The effect of pregnancy on simultaneous pancreas-kidney transplant recipients has previously been described, but experience is limited. We describe the case of a thirty-five-year-old female who previously underwent simultaneous pancreas-kidney transplant for type 1 diabetes mellitus-complicated nephropathy. An integrated multidisciplinary team including the transplant team, nephrologist, endocr...
متن کاملRejection after simultaneous pancreas-kidney transplantation.
BACKGROUND Simultaneous pancreas-kidney (SPK) transplantation is an accepted therapy for type 1 diabetic patients with end-stage renal disease. This study analyses the occurrence of rejection episodes in patients undergoing SPK. METHODS The study population was obtained from 205 patients enrolled in the Euro-SPK 001 study and randomized to receive tacrolimus- (n = 103) or cyclosporin microemu...
متن کاملAntibody-mediated rejection of the kidney after simultaneous pancreas-kidney transplantation.
The prevalence, risk factors, and outcome of antibody-mediated rejection (AMR) of the kidney after simultaneous pancreas-kidney transplantation are unknown. In 136 simultaneous pancreas-kidney recipients who were followed for an average of 3.1 yr, 21 episodes of AMR of the kidney allograft were identified. Eight episodes occurred early (</=90 d) after transplantation, and 13 occurred later. His...
متن کاملIncidence and Clinical Significance of De Novo Donor Specific Antibodies after Kidney Transplantation
Kidney transplantation has evolved over more than half a century and remarkable progress has been made in patient and graft outcomes. Despite these advances, chronic allograft dysfunction remains a major problem. Among other reasons, de novo formation of antibodies against donor human leukocyte antigens has been recognized as one of the major risk factors for reduced allograft survival. The typ...
متن کاملDuodenal Graft Perforation after Simultaneous Pancreas-Kidney Transplantation
A 45-year-old woman with type 1 diabetes and chronic renal failure on dialysis underwent simultaneous pancreas-kidney transplantation from a brain dead donor. On postoperative day 15, acute generalized peritonitis was diagnosed and emergency laparotomy was performed. Perforation of the donor duodenum was found, which had apparently resulted from duodenal compression by the tip of the intestinal...
